Motor mounts and spark plugs

I just got finished installing my place racing motor mounts. just wanted to say i am very, very pleased with them.. my car has a totally different feel to it

on another note
i just installed NGK BKR7E plugs w/ .8mm gap. ever since i installed them my car has been idle very rough. the idle isnt too bad but my car really shakes. i had NGK PFR5B-11 plugs in before. Is there a chance that the solid motor mounts are making my car shake? they are torqued correctly.

the mounts will definately make your car shake at idle... now if your idle is not steady or staying in one place then yes maybe something is odd with the engine but most likely just the mounts

Why did you get the "7" heat range? That could possibly be part of the issue. In most to all cases, you should have went with the BKR6E's instead.

As for the shakes, idle, etc. the PR mounts will transfer engine noise and vibration into your cabin way more than stock mounts.

well i contacted JGY and i told him my setup and i wanted NGK coppers, and he sent me the NGK BKR7E.
the car at idle shakes, especially in the steering wheel.. i guess when i said idle, i should have explained myself better.. but the idle is pretty much at a contant 800 rpm. every once in a while it will dip, but it has not stalled out on me yet.
but i cannot say how much i love those mounts. just punching the accelorator and going through the gears, without any motor movement.. it really does make your car feel "faster".
