stripped bolt

my greddy sp exhaust is sitting in my garage due to the fact that i horribly stipped out the left bolt that holds the b pipe to the cat. the right one broke loose on the first try with a little elbow grease. the left one is a different story. it just wont budge and i think there was just too much corrosion on it to get the socket all the way on and after trying just about everything including welding a bolt to the existing bolt (the weld broke...i guess this kid didnt know how to weld very well), the bolt head is basically round now. im looking for a solution to this problem. id like to get this over with as this exhuast leak is becoming extremely annoying. im ready to get the sawzall out and just start cutting sh*t up. ive had a few friends suggest drilling it it out. ive never had any experience with that but im willing to try anything. tia

If you can get the Sawz-All in between the two flanges (cat and b-pipe) then by all means, hack away and cut the bolt in half.

You can also use a high-speed cut-off wheel (use safety glasses PLEASE) to cut the rounded-off end outta' there.
