What is this hose?

Can anyone tell me what this hose is (the one pointed out by the red arrow)? It's not plugged to anything.

I think a better pic may help it finding out what the hose is for.

it is just some sort of emissions vaccum line, i have two of them open, depends on your emissons setup, i believe if you look under the intake manifold, you will see that it is a bracket with 3 tubes mounted on it, unless you have vaccum going into it you don't need it going out, hope this helps some

Did you unhook it yourself? When I saw it, I was afraid I might have a vacuum leak so I plugged it.

My guess is that its the hose that connects the intake to the EGR system, or more specifically, to the BPT valve. Looks more like a nipple to me than a hose. You should take a clearer pic.

The one coming from the front of the car... the larger one... it's a warm air return line. Not needed. I don't think any aftermarket intakes utilize this... I put a breather on mine because my header still utilizes the aiv and therefore the warm air return also...

The big hose, I thought was for crank case ventilation. It is utilized by both the Place Racing and AEM cais. I'm referring to the small hose on the bottom of the intake pipe.

Well... the big one in your pic... that's for crankcase vent yes... I'm talking about the one coming off near the aiv unit to the stock intake... you wouldn't have this piece if you have a hotshot... I don't even know if your year had that or not so who knows.

so would that be the small hose on the intake pipe which you are referring to? Since there are 2 big ones and 1 small one.
