has any one had problems with the digital 6? hit around 4-4500 rpm's and it starts miss firing..no its not the rev limiter set at 0 for the max and 0 for 2 step.
heard of drilling hole in cap. the cap and rotor are 2 months old nissan wires with stock nissan wires.
thanks for any info
Tim
Have you tried opening the gap on your plugs? The added ignition power means you can run larger gaps with a turbocharger/nitrous.
Also...make sure the D6 box is set for 4 cylinder operation (I know, but just double check to be sure). Also...is there one wire that is uncut and makes a complete loop, coming out of the box?
If not...that's your problem. Per MSD...there is one wire that should not be cut.
I believe Mike K. had problems with the digital 6 in the highport motors. I think we swaped it out with a Crane and everything was fine and dandy. Make sure you have good ground connections. just curious, did you relocated your battery?

My Digital 6 + works fine in my highport. Defintiely check the settings.. thats the only thing it can be, besides any obvious ignition problems (bad plugs, etc)

original battery setup has the ground cable connected directy to the tranny case from the battery, then block to chassis. you might have to run a (-) cable all the way from the relocated battery to the tranny case to eliminate any ground loops. call up jwt and ask them about the digital 6 issues with the highports.
