Yep
For some reason I was fixated on having the gauge right before the FPR, but really the FPR is connected to the fuel outlet line (I never even thought of that until I looked at the FSM). Once I connected it to the fuel inlet line, it worked great.
I could take pics (the install was really a piece of cake). Basically all I did was get a 3/8 brass T from home depot, a 3/8 to 1/8 brass converter (for the T to the gauge), and two 3/8 thread to 3/8 hose nipple brass fittings w/ 2 screw clamps. Screw them all together w/ teflon tape and slip the on the line and clamp. I cut about 2" off the inlet hose, and used it to fit the rail inlet to one side of the T. The fuel hoses are a 5/16 ID, so I had to really work them a bit to get them to fit over the nipples (my Home Depot didnt have 5/16 nipples). Use the 2 original clamps to clamp the hose back to the FPR & fuel inlet sections of the rail.
The gauge peeks out just under the MAF to Intake hose, in clear view to tune. I got the gauge for $35, and lots of places have them.
Supplies needed:
- B&M 46054 fuel pressure gauge (listed for Acura/Honda/Mitsubishi)
- 3/8" Brass T fitting from Home Depot
- 3/8" to 1/8" NPT fitting (Home Depot)
- Two 3/8" thread to 3/8" hose nipple fittings (Home Depot) (If you can find 3/8" to 5/16" hose nipple fittings or just an entire 5/16" system, it may be easier to fit on the hoses)
- Teflon tape
- Two screw clamps (that fit over 3/8 OD hose)
Total cost ~$45
*ID and OD are Inside diameter and Outside diameter measurements
