water leak in se-r

I have a 96 200sx se-r and the other day after a real heavy rain I noticed the passenger side floor was soaked. I also noticed that underneath the dash it was damp, and the ecu was also wet... I let it dry out well and applied a bead of silicone around the perimeter of the front windshield. has any one else had this problem?

I don't have a B14 but at work if we can't find the source of a water leak we
pull the car over to a water hose and soak the area that the customer is complaining about. usually good direct spraying will make the leak show up faster.

Good Luck.

If the windscreen fix doesn't work, you might want to check the drainage holes at the top of the bulkhead to make sure that 1. they're not blocked or 2. they are draining properly.

Sounds to me like the A/C drainage hose is blocked. It is a common issue, at least in B13s.

might also be a leaking heater core....
does the cars windshield fog up when the heater is on?
if its WATER on the floor then i agree with the other guys but are you sure it's not coolant?
i just get paranoid when someone says their passenger floor is soaked.

I have that same issue to in my G. I still haven't able to pinpoint as of yet, but I'll look into the sunroof drainage hole....
