SR20DET 370cc Black Top Injectors...

Hi people,

Quick question about injectors, will the above fit & work with a normally aspirated SR20DE, I have the uprated fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, larger MAF and Apexi SAFC to help to tune them with...?

Cheers,

kim.

I believe so... I think I have the black tops in mine right now (they are not purple tops), and it is still n/a w/ the stock fuel rail. You might need to check if they are side feed or top feed as I dont know what year model you are refering to.

Hi Freaktroll,

Cheers for the reply, I am refering to a 92-95 N14 Pulsar/Sunny fitted with a JDM SR20DE...

The ones I am looking at buying are the following...

http://www.macservice.com.au/pics/june2003/MVC-848F.jpg

The seller says...

"These injectors are in very good working order, that made over 165 rwKw, on an s13 sr20DET, selling due to the purchase of larger injectors."

What do you reckon...?

Side feed or Top feed...?

Those R Side Feed Injectors U Should Be Good To Go With Those In Your Stock Rail. A Little Tuning With The Safc And U Should Be Fine

U Can Use The Safc To Change The Maf Depending On What Maf U R Useing.

What Maf R U Gonna Use? Good Luck.......

you might also look into the e-manage as well, that might be a better tuning tool than the afc

Hi CCRICERKT1,

The MAF I will be using is the following...

http://www.macservice.com.au/pics/june2003/MVC-843F.jpg
http://www.macservice.com.au/pics/june2003/MVC-845F.jpg

It is a Z32 originally from a VG30DETT (part #22680-30P00) and was being used on a SR20DET with standard ECU and a Unichip installed.

Any thoughts...?

As for Brian's reply, are you refering to ECU management when you say e-manage or something else, as I have an SR18DE ECU that is as far as i'm aware un-chipable... so unless I replace the ECU with an SR20DE unit or JWT unit then the SAFC might be my only option...!!

Cheers,

Kim.

yeah that maf will be good and in his refrence to emanage here is a link.

i suggest the emanage also, then u do not need a chipped ecu it act as a piggy back on your stock ecu (greddy suggest u use a completley stock ecu) with the right harnesses u can controll fuel, maf, timing and a whole lot of other things a very good set up if u ask me...

I missed out on the MAF, damn bas*ard dial up connection failed...

So I ended up buying the following, I believe this will work also but am just a bit unsure of the plug socket, as it only has 3 pins, where as the other one had 4...?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...y=10 402&rd=1

The engine it will be fitted to is a JDM SR20DE and the above is a JDM MAF so it should work, or am I talking balls...?
