Car problems, need some help

I have been searching but nothing seems to answer my question. Recently with the cold weather being here my car has started to grind going into 2nd gear (although not the typical noise, just the feel) and it doesnt happen in any of the other gears. Also it only happens when the car is cold, it takes about 20 minutes of letting the car sit and warm up before I can drive it without that happening, sometimes even then it doesnt help. I have tried adjusting the cable and it didnt help any. Recently (2-3 months ago) I put a new clutch in (ACT extreme clucth kit), a new clutch cable, new Raxles axles along with new axle seals, ES inserts and shifter bushing. It wasnt happening when i first put everything on it only started happening with the cold weather. I am using Royal Purple 75-90 Max Gear gear oil which was put in with all of those parts. So with that being said, could it be the gear oil cant take the cold weather?, maybe I need to switch over to something else (Redline?). Any suggestions on what could be causing this would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I'd say it's probably gonna be the gear oil. Just let it warm up and it should be fine. I use MT-90 redline but it dosn't get that cold here in Dallas.

Ok I just put Redline MT-90 into my transmission and it still grinds going into second when the cars cold. Does anyone else have any idea as to what the problem is? It's just really annoying me that this is happening, the car is garage kept (so its not outside all night, plus I have only been driving it on the weekends)(not like its the in greatest condition, but I take care of it and do maintenance work when it needs to be done). So any help will be appreciated. Thanks again.
