Hey guys, it's pretty cold here in Toronto & my car blows warm air, it's not as hot, thermostat is new, I was just wondering if I put all antifreeze & no water in the rad would that help, right now I have a 50/50 mixture. Tried search. Thnx
You need to partially block off your radiator like the truckers. It's just too cold outside for your car to reach normal operating temperature. This should help your gas mileage, too.
Antifreeze is just that, a solution to lower the fusion point of your coolant. It does nothing for heat capacity.
