no cruise after MSD

i installed the MSD 6A in my 96 se-r and since then my cruise control stopped working the light on the switch comes on but nothing on the gauges, i can't figure it out it worked fine before, also i lost about 6 or 7 mpg after doing the MSD. i dont care to much about the gas it sucks but the ca runs great so screw it. but cruise would be nice.

Maybe try posting in the General section, I dont know if everyone always reads this part of the forum. Or try the turbo section possibly.

yeah the cable is tight and i checked the system and everything looks great i also just picked up a '94 G20 ECU and even after swapping ecu's it still doesn't work so i think it has something to do with the msdif anybody has any idea's let me know. i have to drive across the country soon so cruise would be great.

I dunno if this could be it, but...depending on how you hooked up the msd and if you used a tach adaptor, the cruise control computer may not be seeing the tach signal. I'm guessing it keeps tabs on that and if it doesn't get that signal it won't engage the cruise control. Just a thought.

good thought i'll have to research that a little better because i do have the tach adapter installed the setup is installed exactly how JWT directions say to. i was thinking about calling them up and asking but i felt kinda lame for asking them about cruise control.

i had a thought that maybe it has something to do with a fuse or something on my steering wheel , because this also occurred at the same time my horn stopped working, i replaced the horn itself thinking it was just a horn that had burnt out but the horn still doesn't work so i am thinking that maybe it is a fuse or maybe a common ground on the steering wheel or something like that. if anybody has any ideas i open to suggestion.
