oil in the spark plugs...

I went outside to put my VC on the correct way, putting the bolts in order and such cause i had a slight oil leak. I pulled up the spark plug wires to discover oil in the bottom of the spark plug holes. What do i need to get that fixed, do i need the O rings, the $35 spark plug gaskets or what? I dont wanna go out and buy the wrong thing, it irritates me...

you need to get the sparkplug grommets that come in the vc set.
or you have bad rings, probably the first of the two though

When I did mine, I think I paid $60. I think it was that much, but I'm not sure. I'll have to look at my receipts. Call Courtesy and Mossy. Go with the one who offers you a cheaper price.

I've noticed that all this stuff comes at once. I had to buy a new starter last month, broke a valve cover bolt last month, now i gotta buy new gaskets for my VC. I wish i could have it spread out to where it only happens every 3 months or so... I guess it'd be too easy then, if i would have had vtec i wouldnt have had to worry about this. Vtec is the key to everything in a car, heh.

If thats how you feel, sell your Nissan and buy a Honda. All cars need to be worked on. Just because things are breaking more frequently on your car than they should doesn't make "vtec" better. At least we don't have to worry about changing timing belts like they do. All cars have their pluses and minuses. So if you don't like Nissans for whatever reason, you can always look elsewhere.

I think he was joking.

You may be able to get that valve cover gasket set from autozone if you don't want to wait.

I just want A car, but he's got a B14. I'm not into those cars at all. Its either another B13 or that car that you and I have talked about.

yeah, i could do that kenny, i haven't really thought about it though. I would never buy a honda, maybe a new accord sedan, or s2k just for crusing and such. I'm not a fan of many honda products, i like acura though. I've always wondered where Honda would be without Vtec.

Still selling cars like crazy. Their racing scene would not be as huge, Fast & Furious might have actually been better than it was, Clinton might actually inhale, and Winston might still be in a Cup. There commuter car grocery getter sales would still be very high. They do build quality vehicles that are low maintenance. They've proven that time and time again.
