That's what helps to maintain a steady idle. If it's not working properly, the car may stall when you come to a stop.

Yeah, and it's a bitch to get to, pull out and clean. I still have scratches/scars on my hand from doing that.

Definitely something that needs to be cleaned, though. Especially if you've already pulled and cleaned the throttlebody.

this car has to many damn things that effect the idle. its like testing the sh*t blind!.
