Crane LX92 coil

Has anyone ever had any problems with this coil? I installed mine and it seems to missfire like crasy, and sputter under high boost. I had to take it out and reinstall my stock coil, everything was fine after that. Also, what coil wire are you guy's using with this also?

Thats because the blaster coil is weaker than the stock coil.

What coil would you recommend? This is on a stock DET in a B15. I dunno how I would go about using a stock coil,...should I try this Crane coil?

Probably the impedence of the coil doesnt match the stock ignition. It will probably get better once you install the box.

The stock internal coil is pretty good.

I am using the SR20DET motor, it has an external coil. Since we had to re-wire everything, I do not know how to re-incorporate the stock coil to work again, so I need a better coil to use than this MSD.

Use a MSD HVC Coil then, those kick ass.

I think I'm going to go ahead and put an aftermarket ignition on my stock DET. What do you guys recommend for ignition and coil?
