rear rotor size. does it need to match the front?

ok i finally got my rotors, i have 2 questions now: first, does it matter if the rotors are 24 mm? they are pretty thick. and is my NX rear rotors supposed to be smaller than my front? the calliper is also smaller.

couldnt tell you about the question on the fratn rotrs but the rears are supposed to be smaller, most of your braking force is on the front brakes thus needing bigger brakes

well, i read that the NX rotors are 26mm thick so that's why i'm not sure about the brembos, is it true i need new pads for the new rotors?
