I had the same issue with the small fuel return hose, got one in NAPA, too. I just clamped it harder on the 8mm side

Does anyone remember if there is a "crimp" clamp on the end with the tank connection? Looks like there is one on mine. When I take the old line off, is gas going to start flowing. I have a pretty full tank.

Great thread. I'll be replacing the O-Ring by the fuel pump inside the car and start there. Then I'll work my way to the outside of the if the smell continues. Most fo the pics from this thread do not work anymore .

I have something to add. THose guys with JDM motors. There is a vacuum line that goes to the carbon canister. Well on JDM motors the vacuum line setup is totally different from USDM motors. There is no EGR&Canister control solenoid.

To make the story short when there is no vacuum going to the carbon canister it defaults to closed. Therefore it never sends the gasoline fumes it has absorbed into the intake manifold. I have a fuel smell problem and I believe it is because of the fumes collected within the carbon canister. I'm thinking it reaches an absorption capacity at some point and the excess fumes just find their way to the atmosphere.

There is a small vacuum hose that connects into the carbon canister. This small vacuum hose is what controls the opening and closing of the carbon canister.
