niose on startup - cold

hey people the other day i was doning some 0-100 runs with my mate G-tech and it was all good car ran sweet but the next day - engine is making ticking / light knock - but only while warming up - once it's warm it's fine no loss of power full boost etc.

it's not my timming chain coz i pulled the rocker off a while ago and checked it and replaced tennisioner

i was thinking - lifters??? or maybe spun big end bearing but it think if it was that it would make the noise all the time

anyway any thought would be cool also if anyone has good condition sr20det that they are selling - pm me

cheers

matt

Re: niose on startup - cold

ticking during warm up is almost always a sign of oil starvation...probably a clogged oil line somewhere...which could possibly lead to a stuck valve, or rocker arm problems...
