Ok, my car just came down with the dreaded 5th gear popout, only weird thing is its a 1995 200sx se-r b14! I thought this problem was primarily isolated to the b13. I have a few questions about this. First, what is the difference between the b13 tranny and the b14 tranny? Will the 5th gear popout kit from courtesy nissan work on mine? How hard is it to install? Why oh why did this happen to my 95?! Any help in this situation will be greatly appreciated.
Sorry to hear about that, but I think that the 97 Tranny they actually fixed the problem. I would call brain at Courtesy Nissan parts to check. It is quite a big job. They are going to have to pull the tranny.

The 5th gear popout did creep into B14s, unlike what some people might tell you. Just read up the archives on http://www.se-r.net regarding this issue.
