Weatherseal Install

Ok I need to replace the weather seal around my drivers door. Problem is the hinge on the door gets in the way. There's like a pin thing that goes through the middle of the hinge. I'm guessing I should hammer that out and then I'll be able to remove the weatherseal. This is on a classic if any members have done this before please post.

Re: Weatherseal Install

Yeah I did it was a damn pain in the ass trying to be careful and not ruin the paint. Suggestion to whoever does this, get a great heavy duty set of pliers something that will allow you to grip the pin very well. Also a small block of wood will come in handy to hammer the pin out from the bottom.
