I am trying to get my sr20de shipped from some f@gs house in florida to where im at in washington, but I have no clue how much the motor weighs. SO i am trying to see if anyone on here knows roughly the weight of this motor so that I can get a good quote on shipping. THanks

the weight when i got mine shipped was like 367 lbs i think...

woa the first DET I bought was only like 250 shipping weight..
me and one other guy can lift a DET from the ground to onto my truck bed, and I'm a scrawwny assss...
Same for a stock DE....

what all was on your engine if it weighed 150 lbs?? i had a full engine shipped (no tranny) but it was a heavy b*tch

The weight of an SR20DE with all accessories (AC, Alternator, etc.), intake, exhaust AND an automatic transmission is 550 pounds, according to the scale at a scrap yard. I'd say the slush box weighs about 200 pounds.

with EVERYTHING BUT TRANSMISSION, my engine weighed 350 lbs. thats what it said on the invoice sent with my engine from www.alljapaneseengines.com
