fans not working
my car over heats because my fans dont kick on when at a stop light for too long? I put power to the fan and it works. I checked my fuses and they are fine. I checked the relay and it seems fine. All thats left is the sensor and thermostat. Does anyone know how much that is and is it a easy fix.

I would check the temp senders out of the block. There are two behind the oil filter. One triggers the gauge cluster and one sends a signal to the ECU, if that one is unplugged or not working then the ECU will not trigger the fans to come on.

the sensor that sends the signal to the ECU has 2 wires right? I have the same problem, so I replaced that one and it did nothing to help me.
