JWT ECU and safe timing setting

In a couple weeks I am going to be buying a used JWT ECU. Now, due to me needing my car for daily transportation combined w/ shipping my stock ECU to him, overnighting packages, etc; I do not know if I will necessarily have time to reset the timing immediately after I get the ECU. I am currently running at 17 degrees and I know w/ the JWT ECU it should be dropped down to 15. Will the car be able to run a couple days w/o knocking before I can reduce the timing?

I'm in CO so I'm at a higher altitude, as a result, premium gas is 91 octane. However, I usually fill up at a station where I can get 93.

Re: JWT ECU and safe timing setting

You'll be fine if you can run 91 of 93 octane until you change your timing.
