checked fuel lines, swapped return/feed around still the same damn thing it wants to start and starts to sputter like it's going to, but doesnt, history on car (car ran like sh*t, eventually got worse, until wouldnt run at all, same symptoms i described, decided to go ahead and det swap, still the same sh*t, we have diff bb ecu, o2, maf and just a basic det swap, car still runs the same, did notice that the ground wire from the engine to the block was corroded to hell? change that?
anything please

Yeah.. Change that... Have you verified that you have good fuel pressure?

Oh yeah... Next pull the fuel pump fuse and then pull each of the spark plug wires off and hold it up to the VC one at a time, and check for good spark... It may be your ignition system..
fuel pump is good, u can hear it on acc--when we got it to run for a breif second while it was dying out i pulled one of the wires away from the distributor and saw a spark would that be sufficient?

You should check all the wires... Do this with the pump fuse pulled.. Then just have a pal turn the car over while you pull each one of the wires.. Pull from the spare plug, not the dist.
the spark issue doesnt make too much sence to me, i have a diff motor , new nology wires, new plugs, new dist cap, and i have an msd coil but that was with the car when i got it, could the prob be farther back from the coil wire, as i said i had the same prob with the last car, i'm going to try the jumper cable thing, also i regrounded the maf (spliced the center wire and grounded it on a braemetal part of the frame,

i did the engine ground thing, i did notice that my (i think ) coolant temperature senseor wire is ripped from the connector on the engine, thus not connected, it's a red connecter near my oil filter, would this make the probs i describe?

Possibly...I would re-solder that to the harness... Still pull the plug wires.. It takes 1 min to do, and then if you can confirm good ignition, and good fuel pressure, you should at least start and run..

thanks alot, i'm praying that the cts does it, i mean, i've got head work hks cams, hks headgasket reworked t24, i should be fast plus weight reduction of a/c ps and lots of other sh*t, i'm so close--this is depressing@!
new fuel filter, (300zx) new fuel pump too, it's something that was going bad over the period of a few months then ultimately got so bad the car wont turn over and run, swapped engine ecu, blah, blah, still same thing! any possible relays,?
