My car used to do that. New plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and a light cleaning of the throttle body solved it. I had deposits right around the throttle plate and had to use my finger nails to get them off. Try that first and let us know if it works.

Disregard my previous post then...your situation is different. The wires popping off the distributor sounds familiar. I believe a post was made regarding that problem. I'm unsure about the neutral problem though. Does it happen once you step on the clutch or when you switch the shifter to neutral? Just curious.

Re: i was wonderin..

when i step on the clutch.. which makes me think that the hose under the bpt is clogged again.. i cleaned it once and it went away.. i think its still dirty, but yeah now my wires are popping off but i might have found out why.. i just put in the solid dog mount and when i shift from 1st to second i think it pops them off *** its a sudden jolt

Re: i was wonderin..

sorry to double post but anyone know what that can be? its pretty annoying that i cant ride 1st, 2nd, or 3rd all the way to redline because afterwards the car will still... i dont even have to be stopped.. i noticed that if the car gets real warm that it will stop while im just coasting...
i was driving and i shifted in to third, i started to come up to my turn so i took it outta third and didnt push anything and my cars revs just drop and it shut off.. i was like wtf... so i put in the clutch and put in third and let go of the clutch and it turned on again.. so then i take it outta third again and i quickly put it in to 2nd so i can make the turn.. after i make the turn i come to my stop and i take it outta 2nd and boom the car shuts off again, its like i cant drive it if i warm it up with a couple of trips to redline because it will just shut off
