A/c Over Heating

Why Dose My Car Over Heat When I Have The A/c Set On 4 But When Its On 1,2,3 Setting It Dosent?

i dont see how that is possible, the compressor works just as hard. 1,2,and 3 are just resistors that keep less power from goin to the A/C fan. i dont see how that has to do with the car over heating. except maybe since the fan is sucking more cold on setting 4, the compressor has to stay engauged more, and the extra strain is causing it to over heat. i say check to see if the fan on the passenger side of the radiator is comming on when you turn on the air. good luck.

yeah they both work fine. it wierd why its doing this. all day on 1,2,and 3 it works ine just that 4th setting.

The compressor is variable as are most Nissan compressors. On the 4 setting it works harder (Compresses further). creating cooler air and more heat in the condenser. Trust me on this one. I've done a lot of research into Nissan A/C.

Re-bleed the head, bigger radiator, water wetter or Royal Purple Ice, better fans, etc...
