Is the det tps and the jdm de the same?

and also if ur using a jdm det ecu on ur turbo bb det short block, wouldnt u need a bb det tps, u wouldnt be able to use the usdm tps would u?

Most of the JDM engines you get are automatics (at least all the ones I looked at over with NAD) The automatic TPS are different from the 5-spd TPS, so if you get an auto JDM engine, then no, it won't work.

but, it would plug in right, i mean, if i didnt know the diff, u cant tell by lookiing at em can u ?, they wud just look like the reg. usdm one right, just wudnt work?

The one from a auto det looks different. It has more wires for the auto tranny stuff. Just use the USDM one,

i dont think i can use the usdm tps with a jdm bb ecu, i dont have a jwt ecu.
anyone else want to chime in on this?

it's the same thing I believe, just need a manual one, use the USDM with JDM ecu you'll be fine for a little while.
