E-Brake cable not retracting...

i dont know what happen, my right side rear brake is not working, i though it was the caliper so i bought a new one, but the problem still there, i found that the e-brake cable is not retracting, like its stuck...i try pulling it hard and it pulls out, when i set the ebrake, it stuck again...my rear brake is not working anymore...on the right side.

is there something i need to adjust? or do i just need to get a whole new ebrake cable?

any advice is appreciated. Im trying to avoid a costly trip to the nissan..

Re: E-Brake cable not retracting...

Sounds like your PARKING BRAKE (often mis-named Emergency Brake) line is binding. WD40 may work but it will also corrode the rubber housing the parking brake cable is resting in (IIRC). Use a silicone based lubricant instead.
