Re: Car running at 260F too hot????

http://www.se-r.net/zotz/se-r_coolant_change.htm

The 2 wire sensor is to the ecu, the 1 wire is to the gauge... at least for the highport sr20de.

I used Ricks procedures on a lot of things, the coolant writeup is very clear and direct.

Hope this helps... visit se-r.net and you'll find even more information.

Peace,
Mark

Re: Car running at 260F too hot????

Uh....... I have a BB DET and I run the sh*t out of my car. I also removed one of the fans. On an 80 degree day in stop and go traffic I only see 210 at the most. 265 is wayyy too hot. Buy an FSM man, its the bible to your nissan.

Re: Car running at 260F too hot????

Mine sits at 180 deg, unless I'm stopped for awhile. It sounds like kept the JDM sensor, and its giving the wrong info.
