help with starting the new engine
So finally the new/used engine is all installed and basically ready to fly... but one problem, it won't start. I know why it won't start, but i don't know how to fix it. Here goes.. I turn the key and it won't turn over. The starter is engaging, but the flywheel isn't turning. I was curious about this when installing the flywheel/clutch/crank pulley.. that i could torque down my pulley to 108 ft/lbs, but the pulley didn't spin at all. Same goes obviously to my flywheel and clutch.. the crank won't spin. When installing tranny, i thought that the starter had enough balls to turn it, but it didn't. I dont know if it was because i had a dead battery and was trying to jump it, but now that the car is all put back together, what can i do? do i have to dissassemble the tranny and see if can get in there and manually turn it, or is there an easier answer? Any help would be appreciated.. BTW, the engine itself looks fine, but it probably has been sitting for awhile.. what do i have to do? Is it possible for me to push start it to get those pistons goin? or should i try something else?
Thanks,
Zack
