I installed a fuel gauge today, on the return line to the tank. Maybe thats my problem??
It reads 20 PSI, when I floor it the PSI drops below 20. and when I unhook the vacuum line from the regulator it drops to about 15 PSI and the car stumbles and doesnt run right.
what do you guys think?
I have stock fuel rail, and stock regulator.
the gauge has to be connected to the line going to the rail, not the return.if your pressure was really at or below 20psi when you floored it would probably die on you,tap the line from the fuel filter to the rail.
^^^ figures. o well, live and learn i guess. I read somewhere on here that it would read the same from both sides, not so, unfortunately proven by me. The car runs fine, so Im sure its gettin the right pressure.
