caliper pin bushings

Anyone ever replaced these on their AD18's? My RF caliper seems to be dragging and I think the cause is the caliper is not floating like it should. The top pin that the caliper slides on is super hard to push in and out and the bushing/rubber inside that it slides on is broken. How much of a royal pain is this going to be change the bushing (top pin only)?

Yes, I've searched and not found much of anything on this.

Re: caliper pin bushings

it's just a rubber sleeve that needs to be air tight and should have some high temp grease in both top and bottom
did mines weekend and what a good job i did if i do say so myself
u should also clean and put some light grease on the rattle clips so that the pads slides easily
u may need an entire repair kit for this sleeve however

Re: caliper pin bushings

Finally got the part that I needed from NAPA. Any suggestions on how to install this bushing in the caliper? I don't want to mess up installing it and tear the hell out of the new bushing. Thanks.

Re: caliper pin bushings

use plenty grease and take your time not to tear the new rubber piece
grease the inside the caliper hole and the outside and inside of the rubber.
PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME WHEN PUSHING IT THROUGH.
Get something that is almost the diameter size of the rubber so that no one point will be stressed.
