Help/Idle Problem: AAC valve, question.

Okay my car was Idleing high at about 1500-1700 rpm. I started wiggling some wires/ connectors on/ around the AAC valve and my Idle dropped back down to around 1000 RPM. When I disconnected the AAC valve electrical connector, the
Idle didnt drop like its suppose to? Bad AAC valve? The Connector that seemed to make the biggest differance in the Idle when I wiggled it was a small black clip that just slides on a little metal piece, located a little above and to the right of the AAC valve connetor.

The little black clip actually plugs into something on the cooling lines, why would that affect my idle? maybe a short in my wires?

If nothing happens when you disconnect it, then your AAC valve is bad. Bad AAC, you can't set your base idle and you can't set your timing correctly... ask me how I know.

Peace,
Mark
