can i check torque# of Haynes + PICS of sway install

my old 'n ugly Haynes manual has the torque#'s for these bolts...

for the bushings... 65 - 80. sound right?

ok as for the install pics...

PROJECT- GXE rear sway removal and SE-R rear sway install...

here is the begining of the story...
http://www.sr20forum.com/sr20de-technical-corner/90750-cars-up-jacks-need-some-help.html

hehe... so i finally got 'em loose.
here is the skinny ass GXE rear sway next to the larger rear SE-R sway. (snicker snicker)

^^ here you can also see the two champs that nocked those f-ing nuts off. a new 18" flex bar, 10" didnt cut it, and a can of PB blaster. thanks to those who helped with that... i even considered renting an impact wrench & compreser.

a close-up of the two.

On the u shaped brackets with the bushings the FSM says 23-31 ft-lb. On the link to the strut is 12-16 ft-lb.

More than likey that 65 - 80 is inch/lbs. I cracked the valve cover on my old car by not seeing the inch/lbs part. I agree with Brian, just tighten them good.

well for a good example... the link bushings that are on either side of the strut mount... i can just keep squishing these w/o any problem. guess i'll just back 'em off a little, check my torque and see if i'm happy.

thanks everyone
