RWD vs FWD SR20DE

Ok my brain officialy hurts, and this is before I go to statistics!

I have found all the goodies on whats different between the SR20DET and the SR20DE... however.

That is for the FWD cars, or so I assume. Its common knowledge that the SR20DE cams fit in the DET's... correct me if I'm wrong. I have read conflicting reports on how the dowel pin on the exhaust cam is an issue, while others say its not. Whats the deal deal with that?

Having only pictures of RWD DE's to compare to my FWD in my driveway, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me some noticable differences between the two. In short, what are the differences between the RWD DE and the FWD DE, and how does the RWD DE compare to the RWD DET.

Confused yet? Sorry!

Thanks guys.

theres definitly not an "abundance" of info. I just searched the web for over an hour and a half, and have come up with very little usable info.

Some interesting points I did find though, the fuel rails are the same on the DET and the DE.

Well, gee, I have no real interest in the RWD SR20 but I couldn't help but learn (on this site, just by casually glancing at various threads over the past couple of years) that the distributor is different from the FWD version.

No need to search the net, just search here.
