Please help, tranny prob

aight i searched and found the problem with my car, i broke/tore my clutch fork at the point of rotation. its just ripped about half way down but there is still alot of metal left to weld too. My question is welding going to be strong enough to hold the act setup. i have an extra tranny with a fork that is in tack but its really hard to change, so i have heard and from what i have seen its looks like a lot of work and its stuck in a parking lot at school. Can i weld it???? Should i attempt to pull the tranny in the parking lot???? what should i do????

thanx yall

Yes you can take it out.

Once you drop the tranny and take out the two retaining pins.
