You haven't given us enough info to know whether you need to change it, but the FPR is on the return end of the fuel rail.

Are you still using the stock fuel rail or an aftermarket rail?

If using the stock rail, the easiest thing to do would be to just get a Nismo Adjustable FPR- install in the stock location and put a inline gauge after the fuel filter.

so youre using a aftermarket fpr. im pretty sure if you wanna use the stock rail then you have to use the nismo fpr or some people have modified the stock fpr to work similar to the nismo.

thats exactly what i said. i said youre trying to use a aftermarket fpr (fuel pressure regulator). and caps is considered yelling. so if you want help then go about it the right way. if the fpr you are trying to use is universal (has a guage on it) then it is not going to mate to the fuel rail. therefore you need a aftermarket fuel rail or some heavy modification to your stock rail. ive never heard of anyone using those w/ the stock rail so your options are pretty much sell that and get a nismo or new fuel rail.
