Walbro Install Kit Question

I was just wondering what all comes in the Walbro pump and install kit.

Is there a sleeve and harness, it says optional on the instructions. Also what else is in there. If anyone has a brand new one pics would be cool or just a list. Thanks.

There was a GB on the kits a while back, you may want to check it out. It basically comes with the pump, the filter attachment, and a foam sleeve that goes over the pump so it will fit in the OEM pump holder.

And there is a black foam rubber sleeve that also comes along with the kit.

So there's no wiring harness/pigtail? Do you just solder to the connection on the fuel pump or is it a direct connect from the OEM. And what is the ring inbetween the hose clamps? Thanks.

Yea there is a a little harness that plugs into the pump, then you splice the ground and power wires with the splice fittings that are supplied.

Well...I bought a "new" walbro from a forum member, whose name I will not mention until I talk to him about this, and it didn't come with the wiring harness. Hopefully this will be an easy fix between us.

Just to clarify, does the harness come with the B14 pump/install kit? Not sure if anyone was referring to B13 (I don't know if they are different but just wanted to check)

The person I bought it from said the factory harness plugs right into the pump, if that is the case than I am fine, just don't want to open the gas tank to find something different. Can anyone confirm that the factory plug on the B14's plugs into the Walbro?

Thanks again for all the help.

What is pictured in the picture above is all you need. No rubber/foam sock of harness is required. It is a direct drop in for B14's.

The one I did last week was plug and play. No foam sock and the harnass pluged right up to the factory connector.
