Help please - compression tester stuck

S.O.B. somehow decided to get stuck in the #4 well despite me only putting it hand tight. Nothing to grip on to. Any ideas on how to get it out?

Just in case anyone else has as bad of luck as me, I'll tell you the solution that worked:

I JB welded a socket to the broken off piece of the compression tester. Worked like a charm. Sure, I ruined a socket, but I'll take that over having to buy a new motor.

I ahd a similar problem when the boot end on a cheapo plug-wire got left behind when I was changing them. I just glued the thing in the plug well, and came back a few hours later.
