Brake Help

Ok so I've known for a bit my brakes needta get done, it's just i've been to busy. So the other day after a bit of driving every time I came to a stop, my rear brakes would start grinding..usually under 10mph. Well that's not really a surprise..I know they needta get done and if I let em go I'ma need new rotors. Weird thing is though, when I take off it grinds till i get to maybe 6 mph or so..it's weird. Is this normal..? Changing the pads tomorrow..just looking for some input.. Thanks!

You are probably down to the wear indicators, which will start eating into your rotors soon. The wear indicators will make sounds even when you are not pressing on the rbake pedal.
