Electrical or Grounding problem, no start

I have a 91 NX2000 that has been running mostly fine for the past couple months, though every once in a while while trying to start it, I get a click and the enginer doesn't turn at all. Usually if I unplug the maf and negative battery cable once or twice I can get it to start again. The guy I bought the car from mentioned something about the MAF needing to be regrounded to fix this problem.

However, after taking apart the dash and installing a stereo deck, I haven't been able to start it at all. I hear a click and the clock light goes out while trying to start it. The engine does not turn over at all. I have also noticed that the turn signal fuse blows after replacing it and I can't get the blinkers to work. I tried messing with the clutch switch, pushing it by hand and shorting the connector with a paper clip, but that did not help. What seems to be the problem here?

Not sure about the stereo install part but besides that I may have an idea. Mine had the same problem where it would just click when I turned the key. Try cleaning the terminals of your battery off, especially the ground, make sure these connections are tight when you put them back on, check with a multimeter that your ground cable from your battery doesn't have an excessive amount of resistance in it, and finally tighten the connections to your starter up. I think in the end the connections to the starter were loose and tightening them up fixed everything. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to clean the starter connections off though while you're down there.

Drive it like you stole it (or at least try to before it breaks)
