*squeaky suspension urgent!*

i have a 93 nx2000 with intrax springs and kyb gr-2s all around. i dont know the drop measurements or the spring rate cause i bought the car as is. but recently i've been hearing squeaking from the driver side rear and it worries me and it also annoys me. what makes it worse is that i'm driving around with tires with flat spots in the rear. so it's a pretty bumpy ride. i used to only get the sound when there was weight in the rear but now it's constant. please help.

P.S. could a bumpy ride cause the studs to loosen up?

Same problem

If it helps any I have a different setup (AGX with pro-kit) but same problem in the right rear strut. I get a (very) annoying squeak while driving. I'm almost positive its the strut mount, which looked worn out when I installed the AGX. If that's the case it really isnt anything to worry about unless it gets much worse or the sound really gets to you.

From what I have heard. Your struts sqeak when they are blown. You might want to check into that...

It also could be your top mounts for the suspension. Those are made out of rubber and can squeak when a stiffer suspension is installed.

yeah i have that same sqeak only its in the right rear, my guess on mine is worn struts they need to be changed, but the top mounts would be a good place to check also over time all the bushings will wear too. a decent way to check your struts is to push down on the rear of the car and see if it bounces. if it comes back into place without bouncing i would say your struts are fine. it seems as though this is a common problem so im sure someone has tracked it down by now. good luck!

yes, a bumpy ride will tend to loosen things up. Both of my rear strut mount nuts (the big ones in the center) loosened up over time, causing my mounts to clunk while driving. Hell, even the clip for my sunvisor fell off today as well from all the vibration in my car
