No it's a DE. They took a version of the BTCC DE and stuck it in there. Mid mounted, rear wheel drive micra.... I want one in black. Oh and yes they are selling the cars to the public.

That VC looks very similar to the 20v one. Unless the btcc DEs used one similar. Its a great car. I imagine it doesn't weigh much at all.

Thats a 20V head for sure.

I know that they use the VE head in BTCC but they are not aloud to use the selenoids. So they use the head with cams that only have the highend lobes. They use the 20V head because it is the best flowing 4 cylinder head Nissan has.

that little nugget has a 197kw (only weighs 1000kgs) rear mount engine, rwd. Its got a custom hewland 6 speed sequential shifter.

It was made by Ray Mallock, the guy who ran nissans lemans program with the R90C. Then his company built the primeras which won consecutive championships in the British Touring Car Championship

The photographs I have of the BTCC motors shows it to carry a 54C 4R Head. This is listed as the N14 Pulsar DET Head.???? Not a VE type, is it?

No biggie; I'm sure that Dre can locate one for me.

Of course, I have to get the money first.

Thats old school stuff. When they started to use the VE head is when Nissan dominated BTCC. They stop using the 54c stuff about 6 years ago.

this car the nissan micra, was in sport compact car, i wanna say it was about..7 months ago or so. the engine code was a sr20de. I remember that it makes a whole lot of HP, but the TQ was an extremly low number, I'm pretty sure the torque number was even lower than our US de's (136). I'll find the issue since I never throw them away.
