Help needed for MSS

Actually i have got MSS working already one week ago, but today when driving around and testing the car after VE-->DE injector swap, I realised that something is wrong with MSS or wiring, or MSS setings, or...

When I am reving the engine to redline, MSS will start to show 0 rpm frequently from about 6500 rpm. RPM's are like jumping on the MSS screen: 0 and 6845, 0 and 6959, 0 and 7164, ...etc.
On lower RPM's it's works ok.
And of course - solenoids will be deactivated at this time. It feels VERY bad, when accelerating

RPM signal is from coil (green/yellow), I am using only RPM signal for activation.

Any suggestions??

Vahur

Mine did that, but we fixed it when we unplugged the smaller plug out of the back of the mss. I think one is for TPS and the other is a ground for the tps circuit, its ok to remove it. I have no idea why it worked, but it did

Take rpm signal from ecu input. It will work fine.

Steve!

Please confirm - the correct wire is pin 3, Y/R, shown on the scematic. This wire goes to resistor.

NB! pls copy the link to address bar, just click will not work!

I did my best, pls try this link, it seems to be ok,
it is wiring diagram for 91-92 Sentra/NX (SR20DE).
It should be 99,99% compatible with my car.

http://foto.k-arvutisalong.ee/klient...6&p=20634 7#s

and the second half of the wiring is seen here

http://foto.k-arvutisalong.ee/klient...6&p=20632 9#s

Pin 3 Y/R wire goes to resistor (marked as F4 on wiring diagram).
Is this the correct wire to connect MSS brown rpm wire to get accurate RPM readings?

Thanks, gary

According this apexi diagram it seems to be pin #2 on ecu, which gives rpm signal to tachometer and not pin #3, which was reccomended by Steve.
I am little confused, maybe both will work?

Steve - pls give your comment!

I want to be sure, befor i'll go to change my wiring.

How exactly are you physically gaining the signal from the RPM wire in question? A vampire connector? Something else?
