At one point last night when driving home, under normal acceleration, the exhaust would pop quite a bit also had a lack of power. Then after a while it would be fine. Did it somewhat this morning as well.
Not sure if this is related to all this but, this past Monday, the car wouldnt start. Had to hold the gas to the floor and start it. Started up after a while. Then it drove fine until last night.
I dont know if the fuel pump is on its way out or bad gas or what.
I finally found the reoccuring gremlin that caused all this. I guess I was dumb for using the supplied scotch lock/ wire tap ..whatever its called for the msd switch into the rpm wire. Well a couple days ago I took it apart and the wire was corroded and hanging by a couple threads that broke easily when I bent them. After fixing that the proper way, no popping, no wierd starts, which now is obvious why I had all that. Hope this helps anyone having those sorts of problems.
