SR20VE Swap

i have a SR20DE 96 200sx SE-R, what are the pro's and con's of a SR20VE swap? I'd want to go turbo with it, is it just a bulletproof as the SR20DE engine is? What kind of aftermarket parts are there for the SR20VE that would go well with a turbo setup? I mean if i did do this swap, i'd go all out with it. Also, is it a DOHC?

ok, ill be helpful
How long have you owned the car?
What mods have you done thus far?
Why are you thinking about swapping the motor?
Where will you get the motor from?
How much are you looking to spend?

Answer these questions and then we will see where it takes us

Well, it does look alot better then a DE. Once you have a VE in your car the DE just looks like crap.

w3rd, the VE is a lot prettier. though, my turbo DE will soon have an O2 induction manifold for some added bling... i think the gigantic turbo is much prettier than my polished Gen 6.

I'd like a gas-friendly motor with alot more umph then the standard DE. The VVL is the type of motor that keeps you up with the Integras of the world in stock form. Then i could also go through with my turbo dreams
