Anyone running anything other than the stock DE radiator?

Curious if anyone has had any cooling issues with the VE and the stock radiator? I would assume not.

Anyone tracked a VE in heat with a stock DE radiator?

My VE has been fine on the track with the stock NX radiator.

With the VE, water temps are not the problem, it's the oil temps. My car has run on the track with no problems with the DE radiator.

I have not run on the track with the VE as yet. I do have a Saturn L300 v-6 radiator and coolant jug. It is too effecient, I have to run with the bottom taped to build heat in So. Fla. 85* weather. I try to maintain a 190* temp. on the long enduros. The L200 radiator will be better for any cooling problems.

On a sidenote, are you running an oil cooler?

No. Since I don't do that many track events, an oil cooler is overkill for the street. I have a hard enough time trying to get my oil up to temp.

Yeah I hear that Eric but I still don't like to see that needle swinging up past 250* on the track

I don't either. When it gets to 240*, I bring the revs down, and take a cool down lap or 2. Oil cools much faster than water does.

I have used a stock P10 radiator and a HUGE griffin radiator, both cooled fine.
I have an oil cooler now too. Here in AZ I can really use as much cooling as I can get in the summertime.. it gets WAY too hot here
