Once your brakes start to fade go easy, and take a cool down lap to let them cool better. When you finish, try not to use your brakes too much and definatly dont leave the hand brake on
thanks for the info guys,
one thing about the n1 brakes is that is doesn' t take long for them to fade, i put dot 5.1 racing brake fluid in it a couple of days ago so im hoping that will help!
thanks again
I recommend that you take full advantage of any supervisor drivers. Being shown correct turn in points and positioning for the next bend in your own car will both acelerate your learning and reduce risks for you, your machine and others. Tires with slightly higher pressures than used on the street will ensure predictable handling. Good luck, you can see my experiences at www.sr20ve.co.uk (gallery) Have Fun, Paul
well went to the trackday yesterday and had a great day, the car was mine apart from the brakes, they faded off very quickly and the front pads which i only put on the *** before the event ar now down to the metal so ill be changing them again today, only things that passed me out was a HONDA integra type r, an evo 5 and a porche, they all got me on the straight, but was a good experience, now its time to sell the n1 and go for something a bit bigger!!
