De To Ve

is there any way to take a sr20de and maybe put the head on it from a ve? kind of like what the honda boys do with the ls/vtec. just a thought

I'm pretty sure someone did it, You should get about half a point increase in compression and have the 8 counterweight crank. Search around.

no i dont' have a ve head and i am ase certified. i just bought my first sr20 in a 95 200 but i was considering diong a lot of cheap bolt on stuff. 92 cam, g20 ecu, ect ect...but after seeing the ve stuff i was wondering if i should just try to get a ve head and just put that bizznatch on instead. money isn't really an issue.

I think ONE person on this forum has successfully made a DE-VE frankenstein.

I think you're better off just doing the VE swap though?

Try and search around for it, i'm sure its here somewhere.

just find a motor and do the swap much easier unless you have to worry about passing visual

pazuo i believe did it. de/ve hybrid. in my opinion swap out the de and toss in a fresh ve.

well i think if you can turn a rwd 240 into a ve engine i think you could.
