here is the scenerio. I get a VE and throw it in er. Is there any dilema about bolting up exausts? cause I know the VE head is a little diff where the manifold goes. So you can use a de front pipe on a ve manifold.?

I have both the primary and secondary with o2 sensor that came with my 16ve. However, when they took it out, they cut the secondary in half about. ALso, the secondary pipe size is about 2", the hotshot downpipe opens up to 2.5." Which is definately more desirable. I talked to hotshot yesterday and they said that the vvl downpipe was the result of a group buy that went sour, so any that they have left are the only ones they will make. This doesnt make any sense to me because its a great option for those of us who dont want to spend 600 bucks on the full hotshot setup.

I have a complete VE header and "secondary" downpipe for sale here for $100 shipped. Alot cheaper than getting the hotshot peice (if they still have it).

Yep, sure enough thats the same exact thing that mine currently looks like. THe only thing about getting that would be to get a custom piece welded in there and a flanged piece to hook up to the cat.
