Project SR16VE Pics

the swap begun this week
here are a couple of pictures of the progress so far


this was my engine bay just last week

Nice clean motor. Where did u get it from? how much did it cost? What came with it....ecu, transmission, etc...?

I got a SR20VE already but I am considering buying a 16ve motor for the cams.

i got it from a local shop here in Puerto Rico
i paid 2k for the motor, sr20 tranny, ps pump, alternator, starter, AC compressor, axle carrier and a couple more things
i needed all of those things because my car had a GA16DE
i think it was a good buy considering that everything here in PR is more expensive

Very nice mann, didn't know they sold those in PR. I'll be watching your progress to learn a little more, mine is going to take a few month until I come back. I'm hoping to go to one of those meetings in Mayaguez. I will need digitek and payu's help too, when i start to assemble mine. But yours looks great, I like to see some numbers of the 1/4mile when you get it running good. Keep up the good workk

we hope to get the car running next week if the rain stops and if the HS downpipe gets here on time

i can't wait to feel the VVL kick in in this sleeper sedan

the engine got over rev'ed because of some problems with the clutch cable and some rocker arms got busted

im using a greddy mss
