Another SOFLA VVL!!

Well after a few months of waiting for parts the car is back on the road.

I still have a bunch of stuff to button up but she is drivable.

I took her for a spin a little while ago and I must say it is pretty quick. As of now I like it very much.

Here is teaser pic so you can get a idea of what I am working with.

Very very sanitary.

Is that throttle cable coming through the passenger side of the firewall?

Thanks Chris!

Yes the throttle cable is. We looped it under the intake manifold. Works perfect.

Looks good. If I good only justify on owning a VE for a hardly driven car. I still want a VE, but having more fun looking at everyone elses.

The juice will not come for a bit. Trying to make as much NA power as possible. When I hit the goal I want NA I will slap a wicked nitrous set up on it. We have some big plans.

Thanks for the compliments gang!

Rob, you should paint your overflow bottle black, or get an aftermarket one. Yours just isnt fitting the dress code.

LOL. Greenish, yellowish...uglyish. It kind of stands out in the purty engine bay.

Everything else looks completely pimp. Very nice job.

What's your horsepower/torque goals for VE with bolt-ons, are cams even available yet?

I need to clean out the overflow bottle! Its OEM!! It aint going anywhere.

The goals with the motor is to eventually hit about 210-220 whp NA. Then I will spray the car.

SR20 91 SE-R I called it quits for boost. I realized I enjoy NA/N20 alot more. Thats what my car needs IMHO!

Once again thanks for the compliments!!!
